Welcome to the untold chapter of the life of Super Mario. In 2006, the first picture was created (in photoshop, with a mouse). It was such hellish torture, and took so long, I ignored pleads for the story to continue, and put it off. Recently, I discovered drawing tablets, and rediscovered how much I love drawing. One of these pictures now takes mere hours, rather than a full day. So, here is the story, so far.
World 9-1 : When Wrong Goes Worse
Discovery
Mario wasn't naive, he just chose not to believe. But the truth was shockingly unavoidable.
Revelation
If Mario had ever spoken to her again, he might have known that Peach felt terrible for doing it this way.
Discomforting
Luigi and Toad were very sympathetic to the dramatic change in Mario's life. The feeling, it seemed, was not mutual.
Meanwhile, a sinister plot was hatching.
Disturbing Omen
It was clear, Mario could only take so much.
Untimely Demise
Yoshi's career had been a downward spiral for years. He just couldn't take the final straw.
RIP Yoshi
No one knew what to say. This wasn't a game anymore, there would be no miraculous return.
